Hi, I’m Samantha Church, a Level 3 Advanced Hypopressives Teacher. I specialise in pelvic-floor health and wellbeing, and have successfully supported many clients with pelvic floor challenges. I have first-hand experience of PFD and, for me, Hypopressives has been life changing in relieving physical and emotional symptoms.

Hypopressives is a breathing and postural technique which uses breath work and different poses to generate an automatic contraction of your pelvic floor and deep core muscles. It is incredibly effective at helping to improve or eliminate pelvic floor symptoms such
as incontinence and prolapse.

As a holistic, full-body movement and breathwork modality, Hypopressives taps into the body’s natural power to heal and rejuvenate, so that you can feel safe and confident in your body to do all the things you love doing. Its benefits include:

  • reduction of intra-abdominal pressure
  • elevation / lift of the pelvic organs
  • spinal decompression
  • deep core muscle activation.
  • tightening of the abdominal fascia.
  • increased blood and lymph flow.
  • better body posture.
  • wellbeing and nervous system regulation.
  • Hypopressives can also take inches off the waist!

My mission is to continue to shine a light on pelvic health, so that our community has the information, support and tools available to nurture our pelvic-floor health and wellbeing. My work has also taken me internationally, most recently to Thailand, where in
addition to supporting women, I have also worked with men with PFD symptoms, and with Sports Professionals to improve their fitness and performance.

Did you know that around 40% of women will experience a form of pelvic floor disorder during their lifetime?* For me, it’s an alarming statistic. We hardly notice the importance of our pelvic floor when it’s properly working, and it’s only when symptoms such as prolapse, urine leakage, and pelvic tension present themselves that its critical role is apparent. Many women suffer in silence or are not aware of how to keep their pelvic floor healthy. Let’s come together and change this.
