
I’m Katerina (Kat). I’ve always loved movement and started teaching at 16, from circuit training to TRX and BOSU classes. I also loved the intensity of CrossFit.
I started practising Pilates in my early 20s, when I first experienced mental health challenges, and it completely changed my relationship with movement. I had no energy for intense workouts anymore, and that’s when I started practising Pilates.
What I discovered was so much more than just exercise. It wasn’t about Pilates being trendy or popular - it was the way movement flowed with the breath, the connection back to my body, and learning to challenge myself in a slower and more mindful way. It helped me slow down, switch off the noise in my head, and completely transformed not only my body or mindset, but my mental health too.
Pilates is there for me on days when I have no energy, but on days where I feel strong and want to challenge myself.
Now, every time I step on the mat, it feels like coming back to myself. I leave feeling stronger, calmer, more confident, and grounded - and that’s exactly what I want to share in our classes with you too.
